Well, I’ve been looking forward to it for months, ever since I heard there was a chance I might have the opportunity to take photos of the upcoming visit of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama. It was postponed once, but the World Ethical Foundations Consortium came through, hosting a wonderful event, and doing Albany the great honor of bringing His Holiness for his first ever visit to the area.
His arrival at the hotel was greeted by local Buddhists who lined up for a chance to meet His Holiness. He graciously took a moment to acknowledge each of them as he moved past the many cameras and reporters who had also gathered to record his arrival, and participate in the press conference which would be held soon.
